Hours per Week: 35 (total of 280 hours)

Hourly Pay: $17.20

Location: Remote or Hybrid (Guelph, ON)

The Junction Village Community Land Trust (JVCLT) is looking for a Fundraising Development Officer to join our team of passionate community-builders. This is more than just a fundraising role—it’s an opportunity to help shape the future of equitable housing, responsible land stewardship, and community flourishing in Guelph.

Our new Fundraising Development Officer will take a leading role in developing, implementing, and managing fundraising strategies that support our work—from acquiring and developing properties for the long-term benefit of the community to sustaining our day-to-day operations. The role will include grant writing and management, community outreach and engagement, partnership development, and campaign and event planning that will deepen our relationships with funders and partners while growing our impact.

At the JVCLT, we use sociocracy as the basis of our governance structure–a model that emphasizes equality and collaborative decision-making by distributing agency evenly across small self-organizing teams or “circles.” The Fundraising Development Officer will work closely with our Fundraising Circle while also collaborating across the organization to build and maintain strong connections with funders, partners, and community allies.

If you're excited by the idea of using your fundraising, communication and relationship-building skills to support housing justice and community ownership, we’d love to hear from you! To apply, please submit your CV and cover letter to admin@junctionvillageclt.org by June 6th.
